Overview
The Teller Assessment Program-Enhanced
for Sales (TAP-Sales) is a video-based, computer-scored
simulation designed to assess the skills required
to successfully perform the teller job. The simulation
gives applicants an opportunity to experience a variety
of on-the-job situations similar to those faced by
tellers in a typical day. These situations include
interacting with customers, learning and applying
policies and procedures, cashing checks, responding
to customer complaints, and recommending financial
products and services. As applicants observe the different
situations, they answer questions regarding how they
would deal with each situation if they were actually
on the job. Through this process, applicants have
the opportunity to demonstrate job-related skills
and abilities. In addition, the simulation helps applicants
build realistic expectations about the teller job.

Administration
TAP-Sales alleviates many of the administrative duties normally associated with testing. The simulation simplifies the administrative process by leading applicants through each step of the testing process, including a job preview, instructions, practice opportunity, and assessment period. The simulation takes a little over an hour to complete. Following the simulation, responses are computer scored onsite, giving you immediate access to assessment results. These results provide a prediction of each applicant's potential for success as well as valuable feedback on skill strengths and developmental needs.
